Paul is the General Manager for Cargill SSE Food Ingredients in the UK and Ireland. Paul joined Cargill in 1992, and has held numerous positions in that time.
Paul is responsible for the Starch and Sweeteners business of Cargill UK and Ireland, based in Manchester. This is part of a European matrix of Cargill businesses which serve the food, animal feed and industrial sectors as Cargill’s Food Ingredients Platform.
The Manchester location is the largest wheat mill in the UK, grinding around 750,000 tonnes of cereals and producing around 400,000 tonnes per annum of glucose syrups. The Trafford Park site currently employs around 200 people.
